The Cabool Community Foundation has awarded $6000 in grant funding to local causes. The first recipient is Nathan Pabarcus who received $1400 to help expand the local disc golf courses. The second recipient was Nathan Christeson receiving $4400 to help offset costs of publishing the "BARK" magazine through the Cabool School system. Dr. Christeson oversees the project and uses student interns on this project. Congratulations to both of these awardees and thank you for applying for CCF grant funding.

With the heavy winds today, our power has been going on and off this morning. While this is happening, it may affect our telephones as well. If you can't get through, please keep trying.

It has come to our attention that a "utility scam" might be going around our area. We want to make it known that the City of Cabool would NEVER call a business or a resident asking for payment over the phone or threaten to turn off utilities if that payment is not made. Please stay aware and alert, and if you ever have any questions regarding your account, please feel free to call City Hall at 417-962-3136. Thank you.

City Hall is having issues with our internet service through Mediacom. Our phone system is internet based, so if you call and cannot get through, please keep trying. Also, we cannot process any card payments while the internet is down. We apologize for this inconvenience.
